In a bit of heavy-duty Parliamentary mud-slinging, Opposition Leader Dr John Hewson alleges that Prime Minister Paul Keating's NSW Right faction is akin to the mafia and that the faction extends all the way from prison inmates to the Prime Minister himself. Keating claims that Hewson is making charges that he (Keating) is tainted by criminal association, Hewson refuses to withdraw, saying that Keating has a glass jaw, Keating invites Hewson to repeat his remarks outside the House,.
